Botanical Mural
Mural by Adela Antoinette
This mural was painted by Adela Antoinette, a Tucson artist who inspires us with the way she captures the beauty of nature.
Spring just started. I’m seeing plants that looked dead start to come back to life. It’s a reminder of the beauty, joy, and strength of life. When things are hard and the world around us looks dreary, nature can be a reminder that there is more happening under the surface. The land that looked barren has new greenery popping up. The seeds that were planted are starting to emerge.
Can you take some time to visit nature near you? Pay extra attention to the small buds that may be popping up. Or, volunteer for a local community garden. Help plant new seeds, or weed the garden. Not sure where to start? Find a community garden here.
As flowers bloom, the beauty and color can be a source of inspiration. In Tucson, the Botanical Garden has so many plants and flowers that are blooming right now. They also host classes from artists like this one, Adela Antoinette, who can help you create your own flowers.
